I recently came across an interesting video that dives into the branding battle between two sports drink brands: Lionel Messi's "Más+" and the Prime energy drink from Logan Paul and KSI. I'll be honest — neither product is really my thing, but I still found the video engaging. It offered valuable insights into how different brands are positioning themselves in the market, even if these particular products don’t appeal to me.
The video also features a sponsor that's a bit offbeat: "Sunday for Dogs," a pet food company. While it’s (probably) not the worst dog food brand out there, it's certainly not something I’d personally choose. My dogs eat what I eat — burgers, for example. Maybe not the healthiest choice, but it works for us!
Even though I don't align with the brands or products mentioned, the discussion around how these companies are building their identities in the competitive (and often petty) world of branding was definitely worth a watch.
